Our Services

You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone.

If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck in patterns that don’t make sense anymore — anxiety that won’t shut off, reactions that feel bigger than the moment, an old story that keeps showing up in new ways, or exhaustion from holding it together for everyone else.

Therapy with me is a place to slow down, understand what’s happening under the surface, and create real change — not by forcing yourself to “think positively,” but by working with your nervous system and the parts of you that are trying to protect you.

  • I work with adults (18+) across Michigan via telehealth. Many of the people I support are dealing with things like:

    • Anxiety that feels constant, loud, or hard to control.

    • Trauma — single events or the slow buildup of lived experience.

    • Overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling “on edge.”

    • Relationship stress, trust issues, or repeating the same cycles.

    • Life transitions, grief, identity shifts, or feeling lost.

    • Feeling numb, disconnected, or like you’re just surviving.

You don’t need a perfect explanation for why you feel the way you do. If something in you knows you’re tired of being stuck, that’s enough to start.

  • My style is collaborative and down-to-earth. We’ll go at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Some sessions may feel tender and deep, others more practical and stabilizing — both matter.

    You can expect:

    • A steady space where you don’t have to perform or “be okay”

    • Help sorting out what’s happening inside you without judgment

    • Tools to regulate anxiety and stress in your day-to-day life

    • Deeper work to heal the root of what keeps pulling you back

    • A focus on how change feels in your body and nervous system, not just in your thoughts

I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to help you understand yourself and move toward the life you want to feel at home in.

  • Everyone’s path is different, but many people start to experience things like:

    • Fewer spirals and faster recovery when anxiety hits.

    • Feeling less hijacked by triggers.

    • Clearer boundaries and less guilt.

    • More self-compassion without forcing it.

    • Improved sleep, focus, and emotional steadiness.

    • A sense of “I’m actually here in my life again”.

Therapy is not about never struggling — it’s about not having to struggle alone, and building a system that can hold what life brings.

Approaches I Use

  • EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain and body process unresolved memories or past experiences. You don’t need to share every detail for the therapy to be effective—it works on what your mind holds onto and assists in resolving it. EMDR is especially helpful for:

    Trauma

    Anxiety

    Panic

    Shame

    Difficult triggers

Past events that still feel very present.

By reducing the strong emotions connected to these experiences, EMDR helps prevent them from affecting your daily life, allowing you to move forward with greater peace and balance.

  • IFS

Internal Family Systems (IFS) means we all have different "parts" inside us—like the anxious part, the perfectionist, or the angry part. These parts aren’t bad; they try to protect you.

In IFS therapy, we look at these parts with curiosity, not judgment. We learn what each part needs and help your inner self feel safer and more balanced.

    IFS can help if you:

Feel torn inside or have inner conflict

    Criticize how you handle things

Get stuck in habits you can’t change with logic

Want to trust yourself more and feel calmer inside

  • Person Center

In our work together, I view you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or problem. Person-centered therapy centers on your unique experiences, goals, and pace, recognizing that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to support you with respect and understanding in a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment.

You don’t need to have all the answers or even know exactly what to say.

We will proceed step by step

Focusing on what is most important to you.

This approach helps you feel more deeply understood, strengthens your connection with yourself, and builds confidence in living your life authentically.
